In Seychelles, All Saints’ Day is among six Christian feast days on the national holidays calendar.
There are two places where things are happening on All Saints’ Day in Seychelles: in the church building and at the cemetery. Special services are held all over the country and are well attended.
Then, people head to the graves of their loved ones. They leave lit candles on the grave sites, adorn the tombs with bright, colourful flowers, and oftentimes give the tombstone a fresh coat of paint.
